Research and Writing -

exploring, synthesizing and amplifying what matters

broken image

I am always on the hunt for the next wave of breakthrough ideas and concepts that could lead to more positive impact. Currently I am collaborating with the THNK School of Creative Leadership on research that explores social innovation business models- particularly how do entrepreneurs and organizations optimize their social impact and financial revenue streams. Other published works include the Design Management Review feature article (Summer 2014) that outlines the ecosystem of social impact designers and doers- a piece I wrote after spending time researching with faculty and students at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school) at Stanford University. Additional ongoing research projects include collaboration with Philippine based Gawad Kalinga (GK) to generate a series of non-traditional case studies in the development and SE space. Other publications include the February 2014 Asia Pacific Sociological Society conference paper, 'Social Enterprise as an Effective Development Tool for Building Equality in Emerging Market Countries; Exploring the Case of Thailand and SNMM'; available by request.
